Amanda Bossard net worth

Amanda Bossard, fresh out of Anchorage High School in 1992 began her studies in marine biology. Bossard began her career in the commercial seafood industry in 1999. In that year she was employed on Murat Aritan's 65-foot halibut boat. It was later converted into a fish tender. Bossard and Aritan have been married since 1993 and are working together to claim their place in their business. They support conservative and sustainable renewable resource management. Otolith is an independent wholesale distributor of seafood founded within Philadelphia in 2007, by a woman who is now the mother of two children, Bella age 3 and Andre age 1. Her husband has a long history in the fish industry and often they are separate for five months or longer. It is during this time that they are focusing on their environmental and financial goals. In July 2016, Bossard as well as her daughters Isabella age 12 and Andre age 10 Andre aged 10 returned to Southeast Alaska annually each summer as deckhands during the summer wild salmon harvest. Hooks and lines are used to collect their fish, after which they join Aritan for local processors for a period of two months. They then continue to expand their direct seafood product sales through Otolith Sustainable Seafood.
